Mercedes-Benz Goes Blue

Mercedes-Benz is bringing to the public their full line up of fuel efficient vehicles. But they are not jumping on the "Green" bandwagon. Instead, Mercedes-Benz is going Blue - with the Mercedes-Benz S320 BlueEfficiency drive vehicle.

This S class luxury sedan will be the first to include a fuel efficient engine and better handling, more controlled steering and even more aerodynamic designs.

Mercedes-Benz ECell Production Begins

Mercedes-Benz will put their A-Class E-Cell into production later this year. This all-electric compact five-seater will be produced in an initial run of only 500 units.

The E-Cell utilizes an electric motor that delivers up to 95 horsepower. On average, the engine puts out 68 horsepower, which lets it hit 62 mph in 14 seconds. It has a slow but economical 0-37 mph time of 5.5 seconds. The car has an electronically-limited top speed?

Mercedes-Benz Unveils SLS AMG E-Cell EV

It has been confirmed that luxury auto maker Mercedes-Benz is producing an all-electric SLS AMG roadster for 2013.

Mercedes-Benz "E-Cell" promises to be the world's first all-electric supercar; hoping to trump the Tesla Roadster in both price and performance.
